Kayak Wars 2011 Set To Begin 02/01/2011
The largest kayak fishing tournament in the world is about to begin again on February 01, 2011. The enormously popular National Kayak Fishing Event is coming off a successful 2010 and has inevitably grown to include fresh water species in 2011.
From the Kayak Wars site "Kayak Wars '10 proved to be yet another monumental year in Kayak Wars history. Over 400 anglers, 100 teams and over 9000 submissions are just the tip of the iceberg for this competition. From its humble beginnings Kayak Wars has now grown into the biggest online kayak fishing competition in the World. Now, in 2011 we will exceed these numbers in ways competitors and organizers never thought possible. Bigger and Better prizes are just a few of the additions. Kayak Wars is also expanding its genre to freshwater for the first time in history. Prepare to view catches from waters all throughtout and around the USA. As the building blocks continue to stack, more additions and interactive features will be available for all to view and enjoy. Hobie Fishing is once again the top sponsor with thousands of dollars of impressive gear and equipment. You can win this and other great prizes by getting a team together and registering today.
The organizers of Kayak Wars have developed special software for the event that make entering your catches a snap. Contestants make up their own teams of 5 and fish/compete against their peers within their own region. Everyone has the same amount of scoring points available to pursue.
