Sneak Peek: RAM Tough-Clamps |
Saturday, 17 August 2013 10:03 |
Just got a sneak peak at the newest RAM Mount product. They are called RAM Tough-Clamps. Made from glass reinforced high strength nylon with ALL stainless steel hardware, they'll be a perfect addition for the guy or gal that wants a quick easy way to attach their gadgets. Eventually there will be 3 sizes to select from, the two shown are already in the tooling process, the third will follow. Oh, yes, they will be black when they are in production and should start shipping in about 60 days. Aaron Hersey, VP of Marketing at RAM has this to say, "This product will have a wide application base, however, where we see these being used is for quick attachment to a variety of surfaces in and around a kayak. The clamp can attach to a flat surface (like a flat feature in the boat) as well as square and round rails. You can mount a POV camera, a RAM X-Grip with Smarthpone, RAM Aqua Box or any other gadget you might be carrying with you. This is also a great solution for clamping to stake out poles, tree branches etc. to get those awesome angles for photo shoots and selfies." More information can be found on the Tough-Clamps product page. |
