Ocean Kayak™, a leader in the ever-expanding kayak fishing market, is pleased to introduce its new Modular Fishing Pod. Engineered specifically for the Trident series, the new Ocean Kayak Modular Fishing Pod allows anglers to mount, arrange and customize gear in a variety of positions within the Trident’s cockpit. Offering unsurpassed flexibility and convenience in kayak outfitting, Ocean Kayak’s Modular Fishing Pod includes seven uniquely positioned portals that can accept Scotty®, Cannon® rod holders and RAM® mounts. In addition, a smartly laid out series of pilot screw holes enable anglers to mount GPS, fish finders, water bottle holders, paddle leashes and virtually any accessory to desired positions within the kayak. In essence, the outfitting possibilities are endless. Modular Fishing Pods will be standard equipment on 2011 Ocean Kayak Trident 11, Trident 13 and Trident 15 kayaks beginning July 2010. This new pod will also be sold as an accessory allowing current Trident owners to upgrade their crafts. |
