Whether you’re a SAR professional on a nighttime rescue or you’re rappelling an alpine route, the Black Diamond Icon Headlamp provides an unparalleled 320-lumen output, making it our most powerful light. Waterproof to 1 m, it’s ready for everything your adventure might entail. A red night-vision mode that is accessed without cycling through the white mode easily protects your night vision, while dimming, strobe and lock modes add lighting options for all conditions TECH SPECS Lumens : 320 Weight With Batteries : 230 g (8.1 oz) Max Distances : [High] 100 m (328 ft) [Low] 35 m (115 ft) Max Burn Time : [High] 75 H [Low] 175 H IPX Rating : 7 LED Type : 1 QuadPower, 2 SinglePower
(Ed note:) I've been using the Icon since for almost a year now. This is without a doubt the brightest and most reliable headlamp I've ever owned. The multiple modes make it flexible for any conditions. For my pre-dawn paddle outs and deep gorge river steelhead hikes, the icon continues to excel. All the other headlamps in the house are on the shelf, this is the only one I need anymore.~Bushy)
