Using affordable, extendable painter's poles has become an increasingly popular option to mount GoPros and other videocams, allowing for some interesting points of view. For the most part users have jury rigged the attachment in some fashion. No more! Ram has introduced 2 products to address this problem. The new RAM® Tele-Mount™ Telescoping Camera Pole Kit is a great solution for building your own telescoping camera pole. The Tele-Mount™ will undoubtedly increase the opportunity for getting great shots, no matter what you are shooting. Perfect for extending your reach and getting amazing self-portrait shots as well as interesting angles in many applications. This solution is ideal for kayak applications and can easily be dropped into a flush mount rod holder or a RAM-Tube™ for hands free operation. One version comes with a GoPro Mount, while the other version comes with the more traditional threaded camera mount option. The RAP-B-218-1-GOP1U consists of a female hole base with 1" ball, double socket arm and custom GoPro® Hero adapter. The female hole base will fit most common telescoping and extension poles. The GoPro® Hero adapter attaches directly to the under-side of the camera, replacing the factory mounting bracket. The RAP-B-218-1-366U consists of a female hole base with 1" ball, double socket arm and 1" ball, connected to a round plate with 1/4"-20 camera thread. The female hole base will fit most common telescoping and extension poles. The male 1/4"-20 threaded steel stud will connect to any standard female thread found on camcorders, digital cameras and POV cameras.
