GREENVILLE, S.C. (December 1, 2014) – Adventure Technology® (AT), leader in ergonomic paddle design, has introduced new highly adjustable, fully featured paddles for kayak anglers now available for purchase at retailers. These new angling paddles offer a comfortable, customized fit for anyone who wants to paddle out to catch the big one, with a range of offerings from the premium Advanced Series ideal for committed anglers to the more accessible Sport Series for aspiring enthusiasts.

Both new AT angler series are raising the bar on fishing paddles with a new ferrule system that offers more customization and functionality than any other angling paddles on the market. With 10cm of length adjustment, the Advanced and Sport series paddles allow anglers to get the perfect fit and ultimate versatility to handle a variety of boat widths and seat heights. Additionally, the paddles bring even more usability to the table with a line hook on the left blade for extra reach and leverage when freeing snagged lines, a 36” measuring tape on the shaft to record your catch on the fly, and AT’s signature straight shaft construction for easy all day paddling. All paddles are available in 220, 230, 240, 250, and 260cm lengths.

The Advanced Series includes the Odyssey and Oracle Angler, which are both ideal for the dedicated angler looking for the highest quality product. The blades of both paddles are crafted from lightweight fiberglass reinforced at the tip with AT’s buzzed-about Duraweave™ with Innegra™ material for ultimate durability and abrasion resistance. These paddles feature a fishing-specific aesthetic in a high-visibility blue and green digital camo pattern, unique to each model.

Adventure Technology Odyssey Angler: The Odyssey Angler’s large blade surface lends itself to a faster catch and more purchase with each stroke, allowing for quick acceleration and excellent control for a heavy, fully loaded boat. Ideal for anglers on a shorter trip who prefer a more relaxed stroke style and posture, but want the ability to paddle aggressively without any flutter. Precisely balanced blades allow it to be used for both low and high angle paddling, while its soft dihedral and forgiving power face ensures each stroke is smooth and efficient. MSRP $275.00 USD.

Adventure Technology Oracle Angler: The Oracle is our most powerful touring blade for anglers ready for a long day on the water. Its blade design has less dihedral than the Odyssey Angler, providing a more powerful stroke and better stability when bracing in choppy conditions. Ideal for anglers with a more aggressive stoke style, the Oracle’s high angle blade improves boat control and maximizes stroke efficiency. MSRP $275.00 USD.

The Sport Series includes the Pursuit and Search Angler models, which offer accessible technology and price point in a durable, lightweight package. These paddles use a fiberglass-reinforced injection molded nylon blade and carbon blended shaft to create versatile paddles for the fishing enthusiast. Both paddles are offered in high-visibility shades, with the Pursuit Angler in bright orange and the Search Angler in bright yellow.

Adventure Technology Pursuit Angler: Ideal for low angle paddling, the Pursuit Angler features AT’s signature soft dihedral blade that provides the perfect combination of performance and versatility for a smooth ride and ease of maneuvering in a variety of conditions. MSRP $145.00 USD.

Adventure Technology Search Angler: The Search Angler offers a high-angle style blade for more aggressive strokes.
